Your Role: BESS Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Ampirical, you’ll manage high-stakes, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects with a focus on excellence. You'll lead multi-discipline engineering projects, ensuring timely, on-budget completion while upholding our Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) guidelines. Working with talented engineers, sub-contractors, and clients, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative power solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Managing the full project life cycle, including safety, scope, schedule, budget, and risk for complex BESS projects

  • Overseeing project designs, Bill of Materials (BOM), equipment specifications, and construction requirements

  • Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to drive project milestones

  • Leading the development of project proposals, schedules, and material lists

  • Providing project performance updates to internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensuring high-quality deliverables by conducting engineering work reviews

  • Traveling to client sites and vendor facilities to ensure alignment on project goals

What You Bring

Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience managing BESS projects in the utility industry (or similar industry experience)
  • Expertise incost/schedule reporting
  • A strong leader with advanced organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects
  • A skilled communicator capable of leading cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders
