Opportunity Overview

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologist to enhance our growing cardiovascular team at CPMC Mission-Bernal, a vital community hospital within our network. This facility is dedicated to delivering top-notch, community-oriented cardiovascular services and acts as a clinical center supporting advanced cardiac care at CPMC Van Ness, along with the upcoming Neuroscience Center.

This role presents a remarkable chance for a cardiologist who excels in a diverse clinical setting, appreciates teamwork with multidisciplinary groups, and is driven by the desire to serve a vibrant and expanding urban population. You will be part of a friendly team that includes two seasoned cardiologists and advanced practice clinicians, with easy access to a wide range of subspecialty expertise across the system.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient general cardiology services

  • Community-oriented cardiovascular care with strong integration into hospital services

  • Close collaboration with neurology and developing neuroscience initiatives

  • Coordination of care through tertiary and quaternary referral pathways within our network

  • Engagement in quality improvement, process enhancement, and program development efforts
