Job Description
The function of the Shipping & Receiving Personnel - Ennis is to load and unload trucks and verify that all materials being shipped or received correspond to the appropriate shipping documentation. This position is also responsible for coordinating and moving pipe to and from processing areas as necessary to prevent interruptions in production.
Shipping & Receiving Personnel - Ennis report directly to the Operations Manager - Ennis and exercise no supervisory authority over other employees.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Report to work on time and clock in/out at the beginning and end of each shift.
2. Adhere to all company safety, environmental, quality, and personnel policies.
3. Maintain all documentation in a clean, accurate, and legible condition.
4. Sign off on Work Orders, Router Forms, and any other documentation required by Benoit SOPs.
5. Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with established handling procedures.
6. Coordinate with other Shipping & Receiving personnel to ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded according to schedule.
7. Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.
8. Accurately measure, tally, and document tubing lengths prior to shipment.
9. Package finished goods for shipment in accordance with Benoit SOPs.
10. Maintain yard areas and storage racks in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
11. Ensure company products conform to all applicable requirements and specifications.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications may include, but are not limited to:

• Forklift certification required, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Previous warehouse or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Lift, move, adjust, push, pull, and carry objects up to 75 lbs. to waist height without assistance.

Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to:

• Lift, carry, move, push, pull, and adjust objects up to 70 lbs. from waist to shoulder height without assistance.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting.
• Ability to use stairs regularly throughout the workday.
• Work in outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, and industrial noise.
