Description
At ASC Engineered Solutions, our people are the driving force behind our success. We're currently seeking a Benefits Manager, based out of our Oak Brook, IL HQ, who reflects our core values and thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. In this role, you'll be a key partner in helping us meet ambitious growth goals by leveraging ASC's benefits portfolio and strategic rewards programs to attract and retain top talent across the organization.
This role will help spearhead benefits strategies and act as a primary liaison to both benefits vendors and partners as well as the Human Resources and Management team. You will seamlessly manage and oversee employee benefits programs such as health, pharmacy, dental, vision, life and supplemental benefits, as well as retirement plans, wellness initiatives and voluntary and other related offerings. Reporting to the Director of Benefits & Compensation, this role will develop, implement and communicate benefits policies and procedures to align with organization goals and to ensure compliance with legal requirements and federal legislation.
How You Will Help:
  • Leverage current vendors and internal business partners to identify gaps, while recommending process enhancements related to benefits
  • Constantly review current benefit offerings through internal and external benchmarks to ensure benefits portfolio is competitive
  • Act as subject matter expert on legislative updates and knowledge related to HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, ACA etc.
  • Fiduciary level responsibility as 401(k) Administrator for multiple Plans, as it relates to funding, audits, compliance, corrections etc.
  • Liasson to vendors and carriers to resolve escalated issues
  • Lead annual Open Enrollment processes, presentations, planning under the direction and strategy of Director, Benefits & Compensation
  • Have a strong understanding of federal and individual state requirements as they relate to benefits management
  • Plan and lead benefits fairs at all locations (requirements differ based on facility size)
  • Collaborate with our HR Leaders to provide consistent and high-quality experiences for employees when interacting ASC benefits and policies, fostering a supportive and informed workplace culture
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance service delivery
  • Seek innovative ways to improve ASC's benefits and wellness offerings while ensuring financial stability and strategic alignment
  • Primary expert on HRIS related tasks and responsibilities as it relates to benefits management
  • Visiting locations on-site when applicable
  • Management of the company's Short Term and Long Term Disability programs, and Leave Management.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, including HCM (ADP Preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in Benefits Leadership position
  • Prior demonstration of expertise in developing and driving end-to-end strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel)
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of fostering a positive and productive team
  • Certified Employe Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation is a plus

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually*.
