Summary:


In this role, you will support data collection module processes for Vizient's Operational Database (ODB) tool. You will ensure accurate and timely integration of hospital data, maintain compliance with data standards and submission requirements, and contribute to initiatives that enhance benchmarking accuracy, program performance, and data integrity. You will analyze datasets, collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, and manage priorities in a deadline-driven healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support ODB data collection workflows to ensure accurate and timely data integration while maintaining compliance with data standards and timelines.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets from Electronic Health Record (EHR), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other healthcare systems to identify trends and validate data integrity.
  • Perform data collection, interpretation, and analysis to support productivity benchmarking initiatives.
  • Manage client-specific data collection module tasks across standard and add-on tool offerings.
  • Ensure data quality by validating submissions, applying Data Reference Manual (DRM) guidelines, and communicating expectations to clients.
  • Coordinate project timelines and monitor workflows to support successful execution of data initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve data questions and drive project outcomes.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, SAS Enterprise Guide, Access, and PowerPoint to manage and present data.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.
  • Maintain documentation of data processes, standards, and workflows to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology, hospital operations, and billing practices required.
  • Experience with ODB Data Collection Module preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) highly preferred.
  • Experience with labor productivity measurement and reporting in healthcare preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, validate, and troubleshoot data.
  • Knowledge of workflow analysis, statistical analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and with clients.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.
