We are currently looking for an Competitive Benchmarking Engineer to join our team in NTCNA-Farmington Hills, MI.

A Day in the Life:

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role.Additionaltasks may be assigned, as needed, to support businessobjectives.

  • Facilitate and lead vehicle and component-level benchmark activities to identify best practices as well as areas of opportunity (cost, quality, mass, technology) on current production and future model vehicles.

  • Support specific requests from Engineering teams for deep analysis of Nissan and Competitor vehicles.

  • Track and report output of teardowns and activities

  • Support and facilitate manufacturing line walks

Who We're Looking for:

Required:

  • Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • 2 - 3 years of Automotive Design experience; Benchmarking experience is a plus

  • Strong communication skills; able to conduct presentations to various levels within the company

  • Project management skills (timing and scheduling)

  • Demonstrates experience in applying AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies, generative AI tools, or AI analytics to improve operational efficiency and drive engineering decisions

  • Skilled with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel for reporting and analysis
