Benchmark Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our esteemed team in Chula Vista, California. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in restoring motion and enhancing the quality of life for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries. Benchmark Orthopedic Clinic is a leading outpatient practice specializing in outpatient orthopedic care. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet, equipped with the latest technology to facilitate cutting-edge sports medicine treatments. Our team is committed to delivering comprehensive, personalized care, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure positive patient outcomes.

This role is onsite at our vibrant Rehabilitation Center located in Chula Vista, California. You will join a collaborative team of two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The work schedule consists of weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a balanced work-life dynamic.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient’s individual needs and rehabilitation goals, developing customized treatment plans that address their specific conditions.

• Maintain a patient-focused approach by handling one patient per hour, ensuring quality interaction and care.

• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that promote recovery while minimizing reliance on medications.

• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, aimed at enhancing motion, balance, and overall patient wellness.

• Engage with patients cognitively and physically, motivating them to adhere to their treatment plans and actively participate in their recovery process.

• Document and track patient progress meticulously, using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like WebPT to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver an integrated care experience that addresses the multifaceted needs of our clients.

Our primary patient demographics include individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The majority of our clientele is insured through private medical insurance, allowing us to provide high-quality, personalized care without the constraints often found in larger healthcare systems.

• Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.

• Clean license status with no board or disciplinary actions.

• Strong manual therapy skills, complemented by the ability to create and implement effective exercise regimens.

• Proficient in the use of EMR software, particularly WebPT, for documentation and tracking patient care.

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, recognizing the unique challenges and treatments associated within this specialty.

• A proven track record of enhancing patient outcomes through innovative treatment strategies.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, complemented by a full benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education allowances, and opportunities for professional development.
