Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed histories and define individual therapeutic needs.
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans that target trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure well-rounded care for our clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients in high-stress situations, helping them navigate trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate clients and their family members about trauma, coping strategies, and available community resources to improve understanding and support.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to an effective case management system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
  • Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
