Shuttle Driver and play an important role in keeping our operations moving. This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy predictable routes, being home regularly, and building valuable experience with a respected industry leader.
What You'll Do
As a Shuttle Driver, you will:
  • Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
  • Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while following all DOT and company regulations.
  • Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate any issues, delays, or safety concerns to management immediately.
  • Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers, vendors, and fellow team members.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Must have Double/Triple endorsements with 1-year experience required*
  • Must have valid Class A CDL with 1-year experience required*
  • DOT qualified and able to meet all DOT requirements.
  • Good driving record with no more than one moving violation within the past three years.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background requirements.
  • At least one year of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Ability to safely operate tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to climb in and out of tractors and trailers frequently.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to read route information, product descriptions, and safety documentation.
  • Normal use of hands, arms, shoulders, legs, and feet to safely perform job duties.
