Job Summary
The Federal Work Study Student for the Office of Community Engagement and Belonging (OCEB) assist with daily office operations as determined by the Supervisor. Duties and responsibilities require interpersonal and clerical skills and an understanding of effective customer service.
May be required to work during different activities hosted by OCEB
Responsibilities
Customer Service - 60
-Will answer the main line of the office and direct phone calls as requested and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
- Greet visitors directing to the proper location or person.
Administrative and office support - 30
Assist with scanning, data entry, filing, sorting, photocopying, and maintaining records, making deliveries, running errands, operating routine office machines and equipment, maintain office cleanliness

Required Qualifications

Must have a current Federal Work Study allocation award from Georgia College & State University.
Must be able to demonstrate professionalism and dependability. Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary.
General knowledge of office procedures and practices associated with professional settings.
Ability to work a flexible schedule around class commitments
Required Education
Student enrolled in at least six credit hours as an undergraduate student at Georgia College & State University

Be punctual and work hours as scheduled. Maintain regular attendance. Make effective use of work time. Complete all tasks assigned in an accurate, prompt, and thorough manner.
