Experienced Service Technician
Bellingham, WA
Job Summary: Bellingham Nissan is expanding and seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. If you're ASE certified with a strong background in automotive repair and ready for a rewarding opportunity, we want to hear from you. As a Service Technician with us, you will handle a range of repair orders, diagnose issues, and perform high-quality repairs, all while enjoying the benefits of working in a beautiful and vibrant community.
The estimated annual earnings for this role are $60,000-$110,000, based on experience and productivity.
This position is paid on a flat rate pay structure.

Responsibilities:
Efficiently perform work specified on repair orders, adhering to dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Communicate with the Service Advisors to keep customers informed about additional services needed and provide accurate estimates of repair time.
Execute repairs under warranty to meet manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
B-level qualifications, including expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
Excellent dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment.
Outstanding customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
Positive, friendly attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and collaborate with others.
Willingness to stay updated with new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
