Body Shop Technician
Description of the Role:
The Body Shop Technician at Bell & Bell GMC in Little River, South Carolina is responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles in the body shop department. This involves performing cosmetic repairs, frame repairs, and structural repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and the safe operation of the vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cosmetic repairs on vehicles, including painting, dent removal, and scratch repair
- Conduct frame repairs to correct any alignment issues
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle components, such as doors, fenders, and hoods
- Inspect vehicles for structural damage and perform necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians, painters, and estimators to ensure efficient workflow and completion of repairs
