Job Description:
- Lead and mentor members of the Design team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Design and develop innovative woven textile solutions that align with market trends and customer needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to commercialization.
- Build and maintain commercially relevant fabric collections through trend research and creative exploration.
- Collaborate with customers to develop customized design solutions and deliver engaging design presentations.
- Contribute to global design initiatives and support the continuous evolution of our product portfolio.
- Manage multiple design projects while ensuring quality, creativity, and on-time delivery.
Professional qualifications and knowledge:
• Relevant degree in textile design or a related field is preferred;
• 5+ years of experience in Textile, Design, or related field is perferred as well;
• Proficiency in EAT, Photoshop/Illustrator, Microsoft Office programs and SAP are good additions;
Competencies and personal skills:
• Strong portfolio;
• In-depth knowledge of design principles and industry trends;
• Ability to lead and inspire a design team;
• Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts and ideas effectively;

BekaertDeslee USA Inc. is BekaertDeslee’s production and distribution center for the USA and Canada. BekaertDeslee USA employs about 290 persons and manufactures and sells mattress ticking to the abovementioned markets from its 270,000 sq. ft. plant and 171,000 sq. ft. warehouse. The plant consists of two main buildings with a preparation department for the production of weaving beams, a weave room with 40 jacquard looms, a knitting department with 45 circular knitting machines, a finishing department with 2 Tenter frames and a hot-melt machine, and other necessary equipment and a warehouse.
