Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 a year
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday l 9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the selection, training, evaluation, and discipline of RN Nurse team.
  • Parent Communication: Respond to parent inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining transparent and effective communication.
  • Station Management: Monitor the Nurses' Station for cleanliness and safety, creating a conducive environment for medical care.
  • Collaborative Contribution: Actively participate in weekly interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings, providing valuable insights and updates.
  • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to reports of pain or sickness, assess students, and make informed decisions on necessary actions.
  • Health Assessment: Determine when a student requires placement on sick bed due to illness or pain, prioritizing their well-being.
  • Medical Accompaniment: Accompany students to medical appointments, effectively communicating findings and updates to parents.
  • Vital Sign Monitoring: Check vital signs and weight of students as assigned, ensuring accurate and consistent healthcare documentation.
  • Medication Administration: Accurately dispense student medications, meticulously recording details in the Medication Administration Record.
  • Narcotics Oversight: Count and track narcotics every shift, maintaining a stringent and secure medication management system.
  • Behavioral Monitoring: Monitor students' mood, behavior, and affect, particularly during new medication introductions, and document findings.
  • Lab Coordination: Correlate lab draws for students, contributing to comprehensive healthcare records.
  • Medical Communication: Effectively communicate pertinent medical information to the Treatment Team and Psychiatrist, facilitating collaborative patient care.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active RN license in the state of Utah
  • 3+ years of nursing experience, including experience in psychiatric/mental health
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • CAQH profile and NPI number (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and crisis management skills
  • A heart for adolescents and a commitment to trauma-informed care
