Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and Concerted Care Group (CCG) have been trusted names in outpatient addiction and behavioral health treatment since 1973. Across Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, we help individuals, families, and communities rebuild their lives through compassionate, evidence-based care — and we're still growing.

We're looking for an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to lead nursing operations across our Frederick, MD location. This is a hands-on leadership role for an RN who wants real influence over patient care, staff development, and clinical quality — not just a title.

Schedule

  • Occasional Saturday, 6:00–9:00 AM
Why You'll Want to Work Here
  • Competitive pay: Up to $100,000/year, based on experience, licensure, and location
  • Full benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Plan for your future: 401(k) and life insurance
  • We invest in you: Tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, and paid professional development time
  • Real time off: Paid vacation
  • A mission-driven culture built on diversity, equity, and inclusion — where patient care truly comes first
What You'll Do

As Charge Nurse, you'll be the clinical and operational anchor for the nursing team across the Frederick center, balancing hands-on patient care with leadership responsibility.

Clinical Leadership

  • Oversee dispensing and nursing operations to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care
  • Guide care planning in collaboration with medical providers and clinical staff
  • Step in for direct patient care when needed and monitor outcomes to drive continuous improvement

Medication & Compliance

  • Manage medication ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships for the dispensary and OTP patients
  • Ensure full compliance with BHA, DEA, COMAR, and CARF standards through regular audits and chart reviews

Team Management

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance recommendations
  • Build and maintain schedules that ensure strong coverage and the right skill mix
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture and address staffing needs proactively

Cross-Team Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with the Executive Director, Medical Director, and other leaders on interdisciplinary care and strategic planning
  • Identify training needs and create ongoing development opportunities for nursing staff
  • Support nursing department budgeting and identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing care quality
What You Bring
  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar nursing leadership role
  • Strong clinical judgment and up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Ready to Lead With Purpose?
