Description:
The unit is a Level III Trauma Center with an urgent care setting.
It features an 11-bed unit with 2 critical care rooms.
All rooms are private.
There is one Behavioral Health Safe Room available.
Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4.
The electronic medical record system used is Epic.
Unit Assistants, most of whom are EMT trained, cover the entire floor.
Weekend requirements may vary between every third weekend, every other weekend, or every weekend.
Friday/Saturday are considered weekends for night shifts, while Saturday/Sunday are considered weekends for day shifts.
Holiday work is expected but will depend on the time of year and the agreed-upon schedule.
There is no specific scrub color required.
Shift start times are 0700, 1100, or 1900.
Shifts will rotate unless a straight shift agreement is made.
Self-scheduling is not available.
Schedule accommodations will be attempted, although block scheduling may not be possible.
No floating to other units is required.
A cancellation policy is in place based on the duration of the contract.
