Henry Ford Eastwood Behavioral Health Manager Position

Seeking an experienced manager for our Southfield Men's Inpatient Center For Recovery

Full Time, M-F 8am-5:30pm

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily operations at our Southfield Location 
  • Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which support the strategic plan and vision. 
  • Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services. 
  • Oversees performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. 
  • Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll. 
  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. 
     

Henry Ford Eastwood Behavioral Health is a private, nonprofit treatment system that is a part of the Behavioral Health and Wellness Services of Henry Ford Health.

The providers at Henry Ford Eastwood Behavioral Health - listen and offer compassionate care and support. Our team diagnoses and treats behavioral health conditions, including ADD and ADHD, anger management, bipolar and other mood disorders, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, grief and loss, pain management, post-traumatic stress syndrome, self-image and gender-identity, substance abuse, and more.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - 

  • Master's Degree - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. 
  • CCS Substance use disorder treatment preferred. (High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. - 3 years of experience required. - 1 year of leadership or management experience required). 
  • Must be a fully licensed master's level social worker (LMSW).  
     

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED One or more of the following required:  

  • Master Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
  • Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
  • Counselor specializing in Alcohol and Drug Abuse credentialed from the Michigan Certification Board for Addition Professionals (MCBAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. 
  • Must have a Certified Advanced Addiction Counselors Certification or Development plan from Michigan Board of Addiction Professionals.
  • Must have a Certified Clinical Supervisor Certification or have a development plan thru Michigan Board of Addiction Professionals.
