Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. The LPN provides direct nursing care and medical support to clients in a structured residential setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care during overnight hours.

The ideal candidate has experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and residential treatment environments, and demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to clients, including medication administration, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Conduct and record vital signs, symptom checks, and wellness rounds throughout the shift.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to medical and behavioral emergencies.
  • Communicate client concerns, incidents, and updates to the on-call RN and clinical team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes and electronic medical records (Kipu) documentation.
  • Collaborate with residential and clinical staff to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in the State of FL
  • Prior experience in mental health, substance use, or residential treatment preferred.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
