BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Behavioral Health Center !
Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details:
  • Facility: Behavioral Health Center
  • Location: Tampa, FL
  • Status: Pool, Hourly
  • Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Weekend Work: Every Other
  • On Call: No

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
  • Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

Requirements:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • High School or Equivalent
  • FL Driver's License
  • Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology
  • Preferred - CNA/PCT

Preferred Experience:
  • 6 months - Psychology based experience
