Job description

McLeod OB/GYN Associates is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team of dedicated OBGYNs!

***Experienced candidates preferred, but will consider a new graduate***

Qualifications /Training:

  • 1 to 3 years related work experience.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

  • Certified Nurse Midwife degree required.
  • BLS

Job Description:

  1. The responsibilities for this position include: providing women's health care, family planning, pregnancy care, childbirth, postpartum period care, and gynecological needs.
  2. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. 
  3. Assess the needs of patients based on data collected by reviewing electronic medical records, and clinical support staff.
  4. Records physical findings and formulates care plan.
  5. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
  6. Call is required.
  7. Maintains professional clinical knowledge for licensure and completes required training according to deadline.
