Job description

Job Title:Behavioral Health Tech
Department:Chemical Dependency
Location:Greece Clinic
Hours Per Week:Varies
Schedule:Per Diem

SUMMARY:

Assist Unit Leadership in assessing patient's functioning as well as developing and implementing treatment plans and services as patient's needs warrant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Patient Care. Provide direct care services to patient on an individual basis, including activities such as daily living, social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN; communicate with patient effectively and ensure they have access to required services

  • Treatment Planning. Participate in the development of a comprehensive treatment plan, incorporating patient's needs and wants as shared through patient surveys and direct communication with patient

  • Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent and complete documentation of patient's response to treatment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in human services or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Sociology or Human Services

  • 1-3 years of healthcare experience in related field

  • Strong communication skills
