Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver coordinated care that comprehensively addresses the mental health needs of our clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in adherence to ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops or training relevant to emerging methodologies and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at River Edge, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field is mandatory.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• At least two years of prior counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software tools is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients and create sustainable therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an annual salary between $90,000 and $105,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
