Job description

Healthcare Analytics Manager

Minneapolis, MN – Merchandising & Chewy Brands – Full time – R30281

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, and business operations) to understand the insights they need to manage and grow their businesses.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance analytics solutions to provide business insights that guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Perform investigations into data questions and weave those findings into an effective story to be actionable for business users.
  • Maintain the quality and completeness of data in the data warehouse for the Healthcare business vertical by working closely with business and Data Warehouse teams.
  • Monitor customer behavior to identify opportunity or potential issues, determine root causes, and work with business partners.

Other: Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week. 10% domestic travel.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience required as a Data Scientist, or related position/occupation.
  • Alternative Requirements: Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience required as a Data Scientist, or related position/occupation.
  • Experience must include 2 years of experience with the following:
    • SQL;
    • Understanding of databases, ETL process, data modeling on unstructured or undefined data sets across multiple business functions;
    • Ability to develop production level code;
    • BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Knime, OBIEE, Qlik, etc.);
    • Interpreting data, designing metrics and analyzing results using statistical techniques;
    • Data analysis and investigation;
    • Analytic skills using SAS, R or Python;
    • Understanding of statistical techniques such as regression, predictive modeling, forecasting, time series analysis, clustering;
    • Vertica, Snowflake SQL, Google analytics, BigQuery, click stream data, data modelling, data warehouse, ETL process; and
    • Ecommerce retail or exposure to Sales/financial reporting.

The base salary range for this role is $137,959 to $168,500 per year

  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
