Job description

Registered Behavior Technician

Maze of Life Resource Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our expanding Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program serving Will and DuPage Counties, Illinois.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping children and families while becoming part of a growing behavioral health organization. As one of our founding RBTs in Illinois, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA while helping build a program that will positively impact communities throughout the region.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification through the BACB.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred).
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout Will and DuPage Counties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Experience providing home-based, clinic-based, school-based, or community ABA services.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy according to treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
  • Collect accurate behavioral and treatment data during every session.
  • Maintain detailed session documentation in accordance with Maze of Life policies and payer requirements.
  • Assist with behavior intervention implementation.
  • Reinforce positive behaviors using evidence-based ABA techniques.
  • Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training.
  • Maintain professionalism while building positive relationships with clients and caregivers.
  • Follow all BACB Ethics Code standards and organizational policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
