Our Client is seeking a Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional to support students with developmental disabilities. The Aide will work with support staff and behavioral coaches to provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support and redirection to students to provide service in the Flint area.
CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS:
* School Hours - Mon to Friday (8am to 4pm)
* They also have a need from (10am - 2pm) - Monday to Friday
*Competitive Compensation
SUMMARY OF CLIENTS DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:
*Assist student in the general education classroom with note taking, testing, etc.
* Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
*Assist with student's participation in small groups of students as directed by the classroom teacher.
*Assist in checking and correction of papers and preparation of materials under the direction of the teacher.
*Assist with audio-visual and computer setups and operation.
*Monitor the instruction activities of the student and assist as appropriate or as directed by the classroom teacher.
CLIENTS REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
*Must have own transportation
*Minimum of 60 college credit or Para Certification
*Ability to satisfactorily complete and pass given background checks
