Pay $52-58/hour | Anoka, MN | Behavior Intervention Specialist |Special Education Teacher OR BCBA licenses accepted!| Full-Time Positions Available | 2026-2027 School Year

Position Details

  • Behavior Intervention Specialist roles for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Support 3-4 school sites within the district
  • In-person, full-time roles (37.5 paid hours per week)
  • BCBAORTier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching licenserequired
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Behavior Intervention Specialists for the 2026-2027 school year in the Anoka, MN area. We're seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

What You'll Do

  • Consult and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for the students
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments
  • Consult, communicate, and work cooperatively with teams to provide appropriate programming for students
  • Implement positive behavior interventions and supports to support student progress, reinforcing positive behaviors, utilizing de-escalation techniques, and redirecting inappropriate behaviors
  • May be required to use restrictive procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master'sDegree in Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Related Field
  • Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)
  • OR Active BCBA license in Minnesota
  • Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
