School Construction Project Manager – Lead Complex Multi-Phased Institutional Developments


Job Overview

  • Company:
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 - $150,000 per year plus Year-End Bonus.
  • Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday.
  • Project Scope: Multi-phased institutional, residential, commercial, and industrial.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License.


The Opportunity You will serve as the primary leader for high-stakes institutional projects, managing the delicate balance between field operations and executive-level strategy. This role offers the autonomy to drive large-scale builds while navigating complex municipal bureaucracies to ensure project success. You will join a firm that prizes critical thinking and offers a diverse portfolio where no two workdays are ever the same.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Coordinate all stakeholder activities including owners, contractors, and design teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Execute comprehensive communication strategies that bridge the gap between site crews and the client.
  • Analyze project workflows proactively to identify potential budget or schedule risks before they impact the bottom line.
  • Negotiate complex project issues and change order requests to protect the owner’s best interests and financial objectives.
  • Direct weekly and monthly reporting cycles to provide transparent data on progress and critical action items.
  • Facilitate Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings to track accountability and drive site-level momentum.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience specifically within construction or real estate development.
  • Proven proficiency in reading and interpreting complex construction documents and architectural plans.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate city bureaucracy and municipal permitting processes.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to work onsite in the Dallas area.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale institutional or commercial projects.
  • Advanced familiarity with modern construction management software packages.
