Job description

Pediatric Caregiver | Before & After School

Help Make School Days Run Smoothly

Phoenix Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a school-age pediatric client in Kansas City. This role is focused on helping with the important routines that happen before and after school, giving the client consistency and providing valuable support to their family.

If you are patient, reliable, and enjoy helping children succeed in their daily routines, this could be a great fit. Prior direct support experience is beneficial but not required. We provide training and support to help you succeed.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM
  • 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Pay

  • $18.50 per hour
  • Weekly pay

What You'll Do

  • Support the client's morning routine before school
  • Help with after-school routines and activities
  • Provide direct support, supervision, and companionship
  • Assist with daily living activities as needed
  • Encourage positive engagement and independence
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive home environment

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • At least 6 months of previous caregiving or direct support experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
