Good sensory skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with tasting tools are also important for this role.

What are the typical responsibilities and expectations for someone working in a beer sampling role at events or retail locations?

In a beer sampling role, your main responsibilities include setting up tasting stations, engaging with customers, providing product knowledge, and encouraging trial and feedback. You'll need to be prepared to answer questions about the brewery and different beer varieties, as well as adhere to safety and age verification protocols. The work environment is often lively and social, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to represent the brand professionally.
