JOB DESCRIPTION: Delivery Drivers deliver GB products to assigned accounts in a professional and timely manner. They also may be responsible for rotating and merchandising products. This position also requires the applicant to complete our company paid for CDL Training within the first six (6) months of employment.

  • Proficient using a computer or tablet and able to learn job specific programs
  • Must have a valid Driver's license - Class A CDL
  • Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and lift test

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Check vehicle maintenance checklist and count daily truckload with warehouse personnel and verify against load sheets before leaving distribution center.
  • Complete all assigned stops with professional and courteous service
  • Check-in merchandise with the responsible receiving individual and follow company credit policies and procedures.
  • Rotate and merchandise products, including stocking shelves, displays, coolers, and storage rooms as needed.
  • Safeguard and account for company invoices, cash, checks, and other forms of payment and all company property under their control.
  • Complete internal control records, invoices, and reports properly and accurately.
  • Operate company equipment safely and according to company guidelines.
  • Keep truck neat and clean and report all equipment service problems in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with Operations or Warehouse Manager on questions and/or issues, preparing driver notes as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
