Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for over 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for over 50 consecutive years.


What you will be doing


  • Ensure prompt, superior service to guests.


  • Service stay-over rooms, changing linens and replenishing amenities.


  • Thoroughly clean check-out rooms, paying attention to detail.


  • Perform bed-making, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting, trash removal, and amenity restocking.


  • Restock supply cart for the next day.


  • Assist with team projects and perform additional assigned duties as needed.


Position Requirements


  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.


  • Previous experience in the same or a similar position such as a guest room attendant, cleaner, or other housekeeping, cleaning in hotels, hospitals, casinos or residential are preferred.


  • Physical stamina to complete repetitive manual labor tasks.


  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and or carry up to 50 lbs.


  • Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.


  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart on a regular and extended basis.
