Why be a Manager, Amazon Advertising at THG Beauty?
The Manager, Amazon Advertising, will lead the development, execution, and optimization of advertising strategies across Amazon's 1P (Vendor Central) and 3P (Seller Central). This role will manage high-impact performance marketing campaigns that drive traffic, increase brand visibility, and enhance profitability. Collaborating with Brand Managers, Brand Marketing/ Social teams as well as Amazon Account Managers, this role will provide media expertise, coordinate with external advertising agencies/ creator partners, and leverage country-specific marketplace aggregators to maximize ROI and brand growth.
The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of Amazon's advertising ecosystem, including DSP, Sponsored Products, and Sponsored Display, and is highly skilled in setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns with the ability to tell the data story while making optimization recommendations. They will possess a strategic, data-driven mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, partners, and third-party vendors.
As Manager, Amazon Advertising , you'll:
Advertising Strategy Development & Execution
  • Develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies across PPC and DSP channels for Amazon 1P and 3P to drive traffic, maximize ad sales, and boost overall profitability.
  • Lead media planning and execution for campaigns across Amazon DSP, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, adapting strategies to meet each unique regional marketplace requirement.
  • Set up, monitor, and optimize campaigns to ensure performance goals are met, including brand visibility, conversion rates, ROI, and New-to-Brand (NTB) metrics.

Campaign Optimization & Performance Analysis
  • Leverage Amazon tools (Brand Analytics, AMC, Ad dashboards) and marketplace-specific data to make data-driven adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Conduct robust keyword research, audience segmentation, and bid optimization to enhance targeting, reach, and relevance across all live campaigns.
  • Perform rigorous A/B testing and ongoing analysis to identify opportunities for campaign improvements and conversion optimization.
  • Lean in and challenge external agencies and third-party measurement tools to ensure data integrity, optimal performance, and forward motion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Partnership Management
  • Collaborate closely with Amazon Representatives and brand leaders to align advertising efforts with broader brand objectives and marketplace strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Brand Managers, Content, Creative, Social, and Sales, to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless execution across digital channels.
  • Coordinate with external advertising agencies, creator partners, and country-specific marketplace aggregators, leveraging their insights and resources to optimize campaign performance.

Data-Driven Reporting & Insights
  • Regularly analyze campaign performance data to effectively communicate actionable insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Track core KPIs and report on media performance, identifying trends, gaps, and areas for improvement to support revenue growth and maximize budget efficiency.
  • Present key findings, data stories, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting initiatives that drive measurable impact across global marketplaces.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?
  • 2-4 years of direct Amazon Advertising Management experience across both 1P (Vendor Central) and 3P (Seller Central).
  • Deep, extensive knowledge of the Amazon advertising ecosystem, including hands-on experience setting up, managing, and optimizing DSP, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
  • Proven ability to work with advanced Amazon measurement tools such as Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and Brand Analytics.
  • A strategic, data-driven mindset with a proven ability to "tell the data story" and translate complex metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (specifically lookups, pivot tables, and charts) and PowerPoint for high-level data manipulation and reporting.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience managing external agencies, third-party vendors, or marketplace aggregators.
