Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Our organization is seeking a licensed Family Medicine Physician in California who is board-certified or board-eligible, and has over 3,000 hours of experience in emergency medicine. This position can be offered as a full-time role with benefits or as a 1099 contract arrangement.

As a vital part of our Safety-Net hospital and community clinic system, you will work in a 27-bed emergency room, which includes 17 monitored and 10 non-monitored beds, serving more than 35,000 patients annually. We pride ourselves on being a teaching facility with a unique, unopposed family medicine residency focused on acute care. This is a remarkable chance to join a dedicated, mission-driven team that provides high-quality care within a safety-net framework while also mentoring the future generation of family practice physicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the emergency department.
  • Participate in the training and education of residents.
  • Collaborate with a team of physician-only providers.
  • Share night, weekend, and holiday coverage with fellow physicians.
Qualifications:
  • California medical license.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Minimum of 3,000 hours of emergency medicine experience.
