Beautician

Location: Chesterton, IN

We are seeking a Beautician to join our skilled nursing facility in Chesterton, IN.

In this PRN role, you will provide professional beautician and barber services that help residents look and feel their best while promoting dignity, confidence, and overall well-being.

Position Details

  • Status: PRN (As Needed)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments for residents

  • Provide a variety of salon services, including shampooing, styling, sets, perms, and relaxers

  • Cut and trim women's and men's hair, including beard trimming and grooming

  • Style hair according to each resident's preferences

  • Perform basic manicure services as appropriate

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment

  • Foster a friendly, welcoming, and positive atmosphere for residents during each appointment

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana Cosmetology License required

  • Licensed to provide both hairstyling and manicure services in the state of Indiana

  • Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently
