Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-week ambulatory cardiology office position in Portsmouth, NH, requiring an active NH or Compact RN license and cardiology nursing experience. Job Details • Outpatient/ambulatory cardiology practice setting in Portsmouth, NH, • Responsibilities include phone triage, in-person nurse visits for post cardiac device implantation patients, EKGs, medication management, prescription refills, patient care navigation, and patient rooming, • Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, • Uses Epic for charting, • 12-week contract, Job Requirements • Active NH or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted), • Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted), • BLS certification required - must be AHA only, • Outpatient or ambulatory cardiology nursing experience preferred, • Epic EMR experience preferred, • Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted, • NH State Criminal Background Check (performed by NH State Police) required, • NH BEAS record check required, • Respirator fit test required using facility-specific form, • 2 professional references required for consideration, Additional Information • Position is based at an outpatient cardiology clinic serving post cardiac device implantation patients and those requiring ongoing cardiac care navigation, • Fit test must be completed prior to start date; if pending at start, it must be received within 14 days or the traveler may be removed from the schedule, • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply, • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
