Job description

SUMMARY:
Apply thermal spray coatings to parts according to specifications, following process planning. He/she may also perform support operations that may include any, some, or all of the support tasks such as Mask/Deburr, Grit Blast/Glass Bead, Cleanup/Unmask, Ship/Receive, Inspect and Part Marking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up the booth and spray equipment.
  • Grit blasts parts to clean, mechanically strip, or prepare parts for coating applications.
  • Apply the required coating materials to parts in accordance with process planning.
  • Following technical documents, drawings, blueprints, and/or plans to perform these functions.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in manufacturing a plus.
  • Mathematical skills - ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Must be a U.S. Person pursuant to ITAR/EAR.
  • Welding experience a plus.
