Portage CyberTech est a la recherche d'un representant du developpement des affaires (RDA) motive et energique pour se joindre a notre equipe des ventes internes. La personne retenue sera responsable de reperer et de qualifier de nouvelles occasions d'affaires grace a la prospection sortante et au suivi des pistes entrantes.


En travaillant en etroite collaboration avec l'equipe des ventes, le BDR contribuera a susciter l'interet pour les solutions de Portage CyberTech et a soutenir la croissance du pipeline aupres des marches gouvernementaux, des entreprises et des professionnels.


Responsabilites principales (ce que vous ferez concretement)

  • Mener des activites de prospection sortante par telephone, courriel, LinkedIn et d'autres canaux.
  • Effectuer le suivi des pistes entrantes generees par les campagnes marketing, les webinaires et les evenements.
  • Effectuer des recherches sur les comptes cibles et identifier les principaux decideurs.
  • Qualifier les occasions d'affaires et planifier des rencontres pour l'equipe des ventes.
  • Tenir a jour les renseignements sur les clients et les prospects dans le CRM.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes Marketing et Ventes afin de soutenir les initiatives de generation de pistes.


Qualifications et experience

  • De 1 a 3 ans d'experience en developpement des affaires, en ventes, en generation de pistes ou dans un role connexe.
  • Solides competences en communication, en presentation et en etablissement de relations.
  • Autonomie, sens de l'organisation et orientation vers les resultats.
  • Experience avec des plateformes CRM, un atout.
  • Experience de vente de solutions technologiques, SaaS, de cybersecurite, d'identite numerique ou de logiciels, un atout.
  • Maitrise de l'anglais et du francais, a l'oral comme a l'ecrit.

Role Overview (The "Why" of the Role)

Portage CyberTech is seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Inside Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.


Working closely with the sales team, the BDR will help generate interest in Portage CyberTech's solutions and contribute to pipeline growth across government, enterprise, and professional markets.


Core Responsibilities (What You'll Actually Do)

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, webinars, and events.
  • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers.
  • Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within the CRM.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to support lead generation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results oriented.
  • Experience using CRM platforms is an asset.
  • Experience selling technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, digital identity, or software solutions is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
