Material Handler
Location: Largo, FL 33777
Schedule: 1st shift | 6:00 am to 2:30 am (Monday – Friday)
Pay Rate: $15/hr.

Position Overview:
Material Handlers maintain the flow of verified orders to the correct designated locations on the Production Floor.

Essential Job Functions:
• Inspect product quantities and colors of items brought to them for order verification.
• Move the orders off the wooden pallets to plastic if being brought into the production areas or move wooden pallets directly to shipping when necessary.
• Identifies orders on verified pallets and brings them to the Production Floor.
• The individual must be able to determine the correct location on the Production Floor by locating the Department on the orders belonging to the pallet stock being moved.
• Capable of understanding Pull Tickets (Orders)
• Coordinates with Warehouse Managers/Clerks/Forklift Drivers to move products when necessary.
• Maintains pallet flow of orders to production floor.
• Use scanner device to properly set orders in the correct location systematically.
• Follow ALL Safety Requirements
Requirements:
• Able to work in Warehouse Elements – high heat and cold temperatures.
• Able to lift an average of 40lbs repetitively.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience with a pallet jack
Other Skills/Abilities:
• Understanding safety standards within a warehouse
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Have the ability to work overtime.
• Verbal and Written communication skills
Physical Demands:
• Bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods.
