Job description

The purpose of the Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) and Master Plan Manager is to lead the development of plant master plan and SIS deployment ensuring plant activities are tracked and aligned to the best in class and performance targets. He/she will develop and coordinate industrial master plan projects and SIS activities with other groups to improve safety, people, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and environment & energy of the plant. Develop, synchronize and support the mid- and long-term plans and SIS deployment activities for the plant performance from product to processes, organizational structure to development plans considering risks, economic forecasts, investments and resources.
The SIS and Master Plan Manager will:
  • Develop a performance plan (master plan) to transform plant towards the excellent factory benchmark aligned with plant Want to Be (WTB) vision.
  • Define and measure the incremental targets/achievements to ensure execution of the plant roadmap to achieve WTB vision- Lead the realization of the master plan.
  • Coordinate SIS priorities with daily activities of the plant and regularly monitor all domain KPIs progress.
  • Lead mass production investments, vehicle runout projects and other investments, in accordance with safety, cost, throughput and quality.
  • Manage the implementation of product and process modifications in the plant, to ensure the project objectives are achieved.
  • Support plant manager for total production cost improvement activities- Support training activities and skills development aligned to WTB and other SIS domains.
  • Coordinates and synthesize action plans to support the achievement of the performance targeted.

Activities and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Align plant's industrial, organizational, and economic activities to the strategic plan- Build the midterm plan including investments and resources.
  • Manage creation and agreement of the industrial projects- Focus on reduction of the depreciation cost with emphasis on reuse of assets.
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for floor space optimization (right sizing-- preparation of the future state) to increase surface efficiency and lead time reduction.
  • Coordinate the implementation of best practices to drive plant performance.
  • Co-lead, with plant manager, planning activities for the new product launches, capacity changes, improvement projects for quality, cost, delivery, and productivity (including monitoring of deliverables and targets from pre-launch to steady state production.)
  • Identify relevant internal and external benchmarks and facilitate benchmarking activities.
  • New concepts, new business projects (assumptions/BC)- Risk management for the plant (BCM, etc.)- Reference in plant for scorecard activities (RTR, HPV, BC/WC, EST/ESTR, etc.)
  • Productivity plan management.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or currently pursuing a degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience leading in a unionized environment and building effective partnerships with Union leadership
  • Strategic Leader with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading in a major manufacturing launch, proficient in lean manufacturing methodology and application
  • Demonstrated Profit & Loss Experience for NA industrial operations and the ability to achieve cost targets

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or technical field
  • Manufacturing/management skills/knowledge
  • 5 years of experience including being in a current leadership role
  • Experience in production, maintenance, process engineering and project management
  • Plant products / plant processes / plant organization.
  • Manufacturing financial basics
