Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Program Manager - Tucson Campus 26/27 School Year
This is a pathway-focused position with BCBA supervision hours provided to you at no cost!

AZACS was awarded the 2023/2024 National ESEA Distinguished Schools Award for Arizona and the 2022 YASS Prize for innovation in education and providing a transformational experience by expanding unique individualized learning programs for autism charter schools.
Under the supervision and direction of the Campus Director of ABA Practices, the ABA Program Manager will be responsible for supervising and training instructional staff on implementing ABA strategies, tier 1 behavioral strategies, and behavior intervention plans within AZACS.
Candidates must be experienced in the correct design, implementation, and oversight of ABA behavior strategies and have significant experience conducting these activities within school settings. This candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership skills and the ability to train, coach, and motivate instructional staff. The ABA Program Manager will work hand-in-hand with a BCBA at the school to promote a positive school culture that focuses on implementing a best-practice education model to achieve optimal results for students on the autism spectrum.
Duties:
Data Collection
  • Work with BCBA to conduct student behavioral evaluations/re-evaluations, including Functional Behavior Assessments, implementation of PEAK, and other ABA practices
  • Conduct weekly fidelity of implementation checks on behavior intervention plans, discrete trial training, and classroom management strategies
  • Ensure data-driven instruction through regular data analysis with classroom teachers for each child

Coaching and Mentoring
  • Oversee classroom staff in the delivery of all ABA services and the implementation of tier 1 behavior strategies
  • Train and support classroom staff with student-specific Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Maintains knowledge of special education teaching methods, research, and best practices through professional development and study
  • Conduct group trainings for teachers, paraprofessionals, new employees, or parents
  • Conduct one-on-one and in-class coaching sessions and observations for classroom staff using competency-based training measures
  • Provide evidence of weekly monitoring, evaluation, and training of the instructional staff consistent with the AZACS Instruction and Alignment Manual

Other
  • Assist in managing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for all students
  • Update the student information spreadsheets/databases list when students or staff change over
  • Senior ABA Manager only: Provide BCBA campus supervision hours to staff obtaining RBT certification
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) required:
    • Level I: At least one semester of higher education in Applied Behavior Analysis completed (15 credits minimum); may or may not have had any BCBA supervision completed
    • Level II: Completed ABA Master's degree certification program, with BCBA supervision hours needed
    • Level III: Completed ABA Master's degree certification program and has completed all BCBA supervision requirements (not a licensed BCBA)
  • Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Proof of current enrollment or conferred ABA Master's certification program is required
  • 1-2 years of management experience
