Session-Based Contract BCBA – Washington, DC
Cole Academy ABA Therapy | 1099 Contract | Flexible Schedule

Cole Academy ABA Therapy is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to partner with us in the Washington, DC area as a session-based/contract BCBA. This is a great opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and the ability to support families without taking on a traditional full-time caseload.

Position Type:
1099 Independent Contractor
Session-based / as-needed clinical support
Flexible scheduling based on client and family needs

Compensation:
$95–$125 per billable hour/session, based on experience, availability, case needs, and clinical skill set

What You’ll Do:
Provide BCBA clinical supervision and oversight for assigned clients
Conduct caregiver/parent training and support
Review and update treatment plans and programming as clinically appropriate
Analyze data and make treatment recommendations
Collaborate with RBTs, families, and internal clinical leadership
Complete required documentation in a timely and professional manner
Support high-quality, ethical ABA services in home, community, school/daycare, or hybrid settings as needed

What We’re Looking For:
Active BCBA certification in good standing
Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, education, or related field
Experience providing ABA services to children with autism and developmental delays
Strong parent training and communication skills
Ability to work independently while staying aligned with clinical expectations
Reliable documentation, organization, and follow-through
Current liability insurance or willingness to obtain it
Availability for daytime, after-school, or evening sessions preferred

Preferred, but Not Required:
Experience with in-home or community-based ABA
Experience supervising RBTs
Experience with insurance-funded ABA documentation
Experience working with early learners and school-aged children
DC/DMV market experience
