Currently, we are seeking a Forms Design SME / In-Out Processing Support Specialist to support our contract at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) on Fort Bragg, NC.
Job description
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Forms Design and Section 508 Compliance with a working knowledge of ID card operations. This role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of electronic and physical forms at WAMC, ensuring all documentation is fully accessible, compliant with Defense Health Agency (DHA) standards, and efficiently managed, while providing secondary customer and administrative support.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Forms Design & 508 Compliance (Primary Focus):
  • Form Creation & Updates: Consult with hospital staff to design, build, and update electronic forms. Ensure all designs meet strict Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Forms Index & Folders: Maintain the official WAMC Forms Index. Manage locked and unlocked versions of all active forms in designated repositories.
  • DHA Compliance: Attend monthly DHA forms department meetings to stay aligned with current guidelines, rules, and publishing standards.
  • Tracking & Documentation: Submit detailed ServiceNow tickets documenting all modifications or creations of forms and maintain physical backup folders of completed work.

Program & Operations Support (Secondary Focus):
  • ID Card & Administrative Support: Assist with CAC (Common Access Card) resets, biometric equipment operation, badge printing, and database entry for WAMC staff and beneficiaries.
  • Customer Service: Answer inquiries regarding forms, assist walk-in customers with order pickups, and resolve basic administrative questions.
  • FOIA & Records: Assist the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officer with the gathering, researching, and documentation of FOIA requests.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-6 years of related experience in form design, document accessibility, or professional publishing.
  • 508 Compliance: Demonstrated working knowledge of Section 508 compliance requirements for electronic forms and documents.
  • Technical Skills: Experience managing databases, electronic form design tools, and ticket-tracking software (such as ServiceNow).
  • Professional Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
