Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
We are currently seeking a Account Manager, Platform Sales to join our Commercial Sales & Revenue Operations, based in our New York, New York office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with DSPs and advertisers to drive digital and programmatic revenue across AMC Networks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales Planners, Ad Operations, Account Executives, Sales Assistants, Marketing, Finance, Partnerships, and Research to deliver integrated advertising solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between AMC Networks and agencies, DSPs, and advertisers, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Actively sell, prospect, and manage DSP accounts from sales list to grow digital sales revenue, translating customer needs into sellable opportunities strategically positioned in the market.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations, showcasing AMC Networks' product offerings and value proposition.
  • Track all meetings, campaign status, and prospected clients in Boostr and Excel trackers on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and P&I on all aspects of deal activation, including account planning, execution, delivery, and optimization.
  • Upsell and renew existing campaigns/clients with innovative and strategic ideas focused on retention and business growth.
  • Work with teams to set up/implement programs and ensure client ad specs are met, troubleshooting campaign performance issues as needed.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to documenting workflows to streamline operations, presenting product enhancement recommendations to internal teams.
  • Set up/monitor programmatic deals for campaigns across DSPs, ensuring precise and timely setup and full campaign delivery.
  • Assist in reporting duties based on client requests, campaign auditing, and support ad hoc client requests.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising sales or account management, preferably within the media industry.
  • Representation in office 4x a week with one floating WFH day.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising strategies and platforms, including display, video, social media, and native advertising.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data insights and optimize campaign strategies accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Bootr or similar CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience. AMC Networks additionally offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Services, among other benefit plan options, subject to eligibility requirements.
