Job description

Midway University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in our Master of Management Information Systems program. We are looking for instructors with a background in computer science or computer information systems to teach in person, evening classes on Midway's campus.
As an adjunct faculty member, you will provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and personalized learning experiences aligned with the University mission. We are looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for teaching in the developing field of computer science.
In-person courses will be taught during the evening (EST) from 6:30 - 9:00 PM two nights a week, either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
At this time, Midway University is unable to provide new employment visa sponsorship. Consideration will be given to candidates who are already legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Master's Degree with 18 graduate credit hours in a Computer Science-related discipline
PhD in Computer Science and prior collegiate level teaching experience is preferred.
Willing to learn or have experience in instructional technologies to teach traditional face to face courses.
Competency in computer usage and software applications, including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
All adjunct faculty must take Canvas training before teaching at Midway University. Canvas is the online platform used by the University.
