Baylor Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Matawan, New Jersey. This is an onsite role that will primarily focus on outpatient therapy, helping clients improve their physical health and overall well-being through personalized treatment plans and engaging in proactive rehabilitation efforts. This role will be conducted in an outpatient office setting, where interdisciplinary collaboration and communication are valued. Working Monday through Friday, our physical therapist will find a supportive environment focused on teamwork and professional development, all while directly impacting the lives of our clients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Direct and oversee the implementation of efficient physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ functional abilities using diagnostic and prognostic tests. This includes muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional ability assessments.
• Review and assess each patient's home environment for rehabilitation purposes, providing informed recommendations to enhance client independence.
• Administer prescribed physical therapy services in a manner that aligns with doctors’ orders and patient needs, including manual therapeutic exercises, non-manual exercises, and functional activities.
• Implement targeted treatment techniques, including traction, massage, and application of physical agents, all tailored to individual patient plans.
• Assess, fit, and make necessary adjustments to prosthetic and orthotic devices while collaborating with physicians on modifications for improved client outcomes.
• Participate actively in the development and ongoing review of client care plans, ensuring timely adjustments based on observed progress and developments.
• Document clinical records accurately, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, all of which are critical for maintaining comprehensive patient profiles.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team case conferences to collaboratively plan and evaluate total treatment strategies, ensuring all aspects of patient care are covered.
• Educate and instruct patients and families about their physical therapy programs and the use of therapy devices, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

The primary focus of our outpatient physical therapy services includes a diverse range of clients, from those recovering from surgeries to individuals managing chronic pain or rehabilitation post-injury. This role requires a compassionate approach tailored to each client’s unique needs while fostering a positive attitudinal environment that encourages healing and progress.

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current PT licensure in New Jersey in good standing and valid CPR certification.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, facilitating travel to patient locations when applicable.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and quality of care, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate patients through their therapy journey, fostering positive relationships built on trust and respect.

While a minimum of two years’ experience in a physical therapy role is required, preference will be given to candidates with a background in acute care or home care settings. A track record of effectively leveraging patient-centric methodologies for treatment and proven involvement in interdisciplinary collaborations will enhance a candidate's profile.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
