Job description

BayCare Medical Group, the leading physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Surgeon to join a growing practice at BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel - an 86-bed facility located in the rapidly expanding community of Wesley Chapel, Florida.

 

Some highlights of this excellent opportunity include: 

  • Experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery is required.  Experience with colorectal surgery is preferred. 
  • A Da Vinci 5 robot is onsite with ample availability.  The hospital currently has 4 ORs.  
  • Call is anticipated to be 1:4
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player who is focused on quality outcomes and has a desire to build a strong elective practice.

Board Certification / Board Eligibility by the American Board of Surgery.  Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
