Interventional Cardiologist
Bay Area Cardiology Associates | Greater Tampa, Florida
Position Overview
Bay Area Cardiology Associates is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the Greater Tampa region. This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities with exposure to both bread-and-butter and complex coronary interventional procedures across affiliated hospitals and office locations.
Key responsibilities/services include:
  • Bread and butter, and complex coronary interventions
  • Peripheral vascular interventions (if experienced and interested)
  • Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology
  • Cardiac CT and TEE
  • Stress testing, consultations, and medication management
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
  • STEMI Call requirements shared with other physicians

The incoming physician will work within state-of-the-art clinic and hospital facilities alongside a dedicated team of APPs, medical assistants, and administrative staff. Future growth opportunities when we open our future Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Shared call responsibilities provide balanced physician support and work-life integration with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Compensation includes a highly competitive base salary, production bonuses, additional incentives, clinical research (if interested), and equity.

  • Board Certified / Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology training programs
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure
  • Open to experienced physicians and current fellows
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous improvement
