The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. - Perform general baseball field maintenance including preparing, maintaining, and repairing all field, bullpen, and batting cage areas as needed, mound and plate repair, painting, warning track maintenance, batting practice set-up and tear down, tarp pulling, etc.
- Assist with turf grass management including edging, sodding, aerating, irrigation repairs, as well as assisting with fertilizer applications.
- Assist in all field activities. This will include, but is not limited to concerts, corporate sponsorship events, community relation outreach programs, postgame concerts, as well as high school and college games.
- Assist with general equipment repair and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience & Skills:
- Experience in playing field maintenance of professional baseball sports stadiums.
- Possess a strong ability to problem solve.
- Ability to lift, carry and transport up to 50lb.
- Must have superb attention to detail.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Must be able to work day, night, weekends and holidays.
