BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.
  • 7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Validation of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analysis.
  • Experience in audio testing.
  • Verification of digital interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB (at least one).
  • Load regulation, line regulation, efficiency, and ripple/noise measurements.
  • Root cause analysis and failure diagnostics.
  • Board bring-up and prototype validation.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Firmware-hardware integration validation.
  • Debugging using JTAG, SWD, and serial interfaces.
  • Fault condition testing: over-voltage, over-current, thermal shutdown.
  • Automated power sequencing and transient response analysis.
  • Battery testing and characterization.
  • Wireless charging testing and validation.
  • Python: Test automation, data parsing, visualization, and report generation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This position works in a lab environment on new innovative products for the consumer electronics space.
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
  • Someone who loves to be hands-on with an analytical and inquisitive mind would work well in this position.
  • This role will require regular time on-site and is not open to fully remote work.
  • Develop and execute test plans for hardware verification and validation of new prototypes in the AR/VR space
  • Present testing results to cross functional teams and provide design feedback for future design iterations.
