Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Royse City, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional early/late hours as needed)
Position SummaryThe Production Operator is responsible for batching and mixing raw materials into finished non-hazardous liquid admixtures for the concrete industry, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality results. This role requires precise adherence to formulas, safety protocols, and production schedules, as well as collaboration across the plant to maintain smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will have direct industrial plant experience in chemical manufacturing, specifically in the batching/mixing process, with strong attention to quality control, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform batching of finished products using Bills of Materials (batch tickets), following strict measurement and procedural controls.
Receive raw materials: verify bill of lading against purchase orders, unload deliveries, take QA samples, and document inventory.
Maintain accurate raw material inventory readings and update control systems.
Prepare documentation for outgoing deliveries, including load description sheets, delivery tickets, and inventory logs.
Load finished product into totes or tanker trucks using pumps and metering equipment.
Transfer product from mix tanks to plant storage or load-out areas.
Process returned delivery paperwork, including signed customer receipts.
Perform basic plant and equipment maintenance, including cleaning, washing delivery vehicles, and minor pump/meter repairs.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment in line with OSHA, company policies, and quality standards.
Participate in cross-functional tasks as needed in an entrepreneurial, team-driven environment.
Required QualificationsExperience:
Direct industrial plant responsibility for batching/mixing raw materials into finished products with strict adherence to procedures for quality and consistency.
Chemical manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Education:
Skills & Abilities:
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift operation (2-prong).
Ability to lift 55 lbs unassisted and stand/walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
Strong basic math skills and attention to sequential work processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and general computer systems.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Dependable for occasional early morning or late evening work.
